Jayden Chen - Solicitor

Jayden is a solicitor admitted to the Supreme Court of New South Wales. He holds a Bachelor of Commerce, majoring in Accounting and Finance, from the University of New South Wales, and a Juris Doctor degree from the University of Sydney. From the outset of his legal career, Jayden has focused on Civil and Commercial Litigation, as well as Family Law. Jayden is fluent in both English and Mandarin.

Lisa Zhou – Licensed Conveyancer

Lisa has over 10 years of experience in property law, specializing in residential and commercial conveyancing. Lisa became a Licensed Conveyancer since March 2019 has provided expert guidance on property transactions, title matters, contract reviews, caveat and lease registration, ensuring clients receive accurate, efficient, and tailored solutions. In addition to property law, Lisa is currently undertaking a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) to expand her legal expertise. Lisa is fluent in English and Mandarin.

Edison Lau - Paralegal

Edison is currently undertaking his legal studies at the University of New South Wales, building upon a rigorous academic background in the humanities and social sciences. In his role as a paralegal at Du & Associates Lawyers, he provides wide-ranging support to solicitors across commercial, property, family, and criminal law, as well as in matters concerning wills, estates, and civil litigation. He demonstrates a consistently methodical approach, a keen eye for detail in legal research, and strong drafting skills, all of which contribute meaningfully to the firm’s practice. With prior experience spanning both criminal and civil law, Edison has cultivated a sound understanding of court processes, document preparation, and the practical aspects of case management. His fluency in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin enables him to assist a diverse client base with clarity, cultural sensitivity, and discretion. Edison strives to develop into a well-rounded legal practitioner, committed to analytical rigour, ethical practice, and client-focused service. Julie Yang - Paralegal

Julie is a final-year Bachelor of Laws student at the University of Sydney. She also holds a Bachelor of Commerce, majoring in Accounting, which complements her legal studies and provides her with a strong understanding of commercial principles, financial literacy and business operations. In her role at Du and Associates, Julie provides wide-ranging support to solicitors across commercial, criminal and family law matters. She assists with legal research, drafting and reviewing legal documents, preparing court materials, and managing files to support matters at various stages. Julie is highly organised, detail-oriented and able to work effectively under pressure, with a strong focus on accuracy and professionalism. Fluent in English, Mandarin and Teochew, she is able to assist in communicating with clients from diverse linguistic and cultural backgrounds. As a final-year law student, Julie is focused on consolidating her academic training while continuing to develop practical legal skills, with a view to commencing her legal career following graduation.

Dawen Zhang - Finance Manager

Dawen is an accomplished Finance Manager with over two decades of experience in financial leadership, strategic planning, and operational excellence. A Chartered Accountant, she has held senior roles at globally renowned firms including Chanel, Deloitte, and leading ASX-listed companies, where she built a strong foundation in financial reporting, compliance, and business advisory. Fluent in both Mandarin and the Shanghai dialect, Dawen plays a pivotal role in supporting the firm’s growing Chinese client base. Her language skills and cultural insight allow her to communicate seamlessly across borders, fostering trust and understanding with clients and partners alike. Dawen is recognised not only for her technical expertise, but also for her strong interpersonal skills and naturally curious mindset. Lyn holds a bachelor's degree in finance and is fluent in English, Mandarin, and Korean.
